DIY Wooden Geometric Wine Stopper

DIY Geometric Wooden Wine Stopper @themerrysthought Today we’re sharing the final post of our mini Christmas series and next week we’ll be starting nonstop Christmas DIY decor and gift ideas! (Because next week it’s December already…?!!!) We’re so excited!! This week’s project is the perfect gift for the wine lover in your life!
DIY Wine Stopper @themerrysthought What you need:
-Piece of hardwood
-Hand saw
-Belt sander
-Stain (Butcher block conditioner or a natural  stain is better – but I didn’t have any when I was making this)
-Cork stopper
-Super glue

How to make it:
-Use a hand saw to cut chunks off the block of wood giving it a geometric/gem feel.
-Use a belt sander to smooth out each of the sides that you cut.
-Use a stain or butcher block conditioner all over the wood and let dry according to directions.
-Super glue the cork stopper to the bottom of the piece of wood.
