We made it safely into March! I can already feel myself getting giddy about spring, but the reality around here is that winter could last for quite a while still. Lots of snow-slush ickiness around here this week. So here are a few more tips on how to dress while surviving the unending winter:

-Layers. Don’t be shy, just pile them on! Start with a basic piece like a solid tank, thermal, or collared blouse and then find a few cozy pieces that you love and toss ’em on over it. Don’t be afraid to do some pattern mixing.
-Accessories. Stock up on adorable hats, gloves and scarves. Don’t leave the house without them. Go thrifting or ask your grandma to knit you a little something.
-Cozy Sweaters. If you ever find yourself dying over the amazing sweaters you see bloggers wearing all over the internet. Go thrifting. Seriously. Go to a few thrift shops, check in the women’s and men’s sections, look carefully, be patient, it may take a couple trips but I promise there are gems out there! And it won’t hurt to look at the dresses while you’re there… maybe spring will surprise us and pop by early.

Have a great weekend!
